The other side of her sign says: “Hey Winsome. You have a gender neutral bathroom in your house.”

I wonder how she decides which msg he needs to see.

Is that the same woman to took her 5 year old to the Fairytale Story hour hosted by fat men wearing bad makeup, dressed in tights, peeling off dollar bills as they danced and pranced about?

I can’t wait for daily Halloween events to end.

And women who can tell the difference between a woman and a man.

It’s more like an obsession with stratifying the country by demographic segments and assigning points to each. It’s generally the work of a certain sort of professional-managerial type. It started in higher education, public agencies controlled by the Democratic Party, and the legal profession but now it has spread everywhere and you see it in the rest of the Anglosphere as well. It’s vicious and perverse.

***It’s vicious and perverse.***

It’s an abomination before God and men / woman of God.

It is a scourge upon our land.

….and we are called to help them to the truth.

Excuse my semi-rage. They have pasts.
Broken and abused they flaunt their frustrations out unto a public that must approve them or else they cancel that public.

I am trying very hard to put up with a broken soul through Christlike patience and compassion…but it’s hard. “Do you want to be made whole?” For this one whom I work with the answer right now is NO.

Jesus can and will do it for her …but she must want the healing.

Philip-
Try to remember that sometimes the answer is no. That’s the agony of free will.
However, sometimes the answer is a public “no” followed by a private “yes” that we will never see.

Time in prayer is never wasted time, even when we don’t get the results we want. Perhaps *especially* when we don’t get the results we want, for then there is no immediate carrot for our prayer.

Discouragement is one of the highest caliber weapons of the Enemy. Often I get taken down by it before I even know I got hit! Just don’t have the “good sense” to stay down 🙂

Thank you bruised…your moniker is poetic.
I appreciate your words of wisdom.

In the very end..God’s will is done. To the Joy of many and for some that joy is mindboggling. Not wishing for union with God. A strange joy in darkness and sin.

Philip-

Your thoughts brought this bit of CS Lewis to mind. I resemble it far too often.
“It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”

The Bruised Optimist.

CS Lewis. A heart specialist if ever there was one. Good with the head surgery too.

Thank you for the quote.

I think it’s an obsession born out of a deep-seated guilt for their own safe white suburban liberal upscale upbringing and carefully hidden racial bias.

It is why they overcompensate with DEI, ESG, “affirmative action,” and inherently unjust “set-asides.”
