Time for the Julius II solution to Pope Francis:
I will not live in the same rooms as the Borgias lived. He [Alexander VI] desecrated the Holy Church as none before. He usurped the papal power by the devil’s aid, and I forbid under the pain of excommunication anyone to speak or think of Borgia again. His name and memory must be forgotten. It must be crossed out of every document and memorial. His reign must be obliterated. All paintings made of the Borgias or for them must be covered over with black crepe. All the tombs of the Borgias must be opened and their bodies sent back to where they belong – to Spain.

I have acknowledged that the “living and developing” traditions within our Church that ruined families, soiled the reputation of the Holy Catholic Church, reduced attendence in Holy Mass to the point of closing Churches and selling the property which the proceeds thereof would help pay off legal fee’s and or settlements. These living traditions, that were the hallmark of Sodom, have NO place within the Holy Catholic Church. None of it.
Too rigid I suppose?
Tell that to my neighbor who was molested by a priest and then faced the nightmare of his parents unbelief for over a year.
If rainbow stole’s, blessings of gay couples in Holy Catholic Church, and clown Masses are the “developing” traditions of this Holy Church than run away as fast as you can, or fight the good fight…but don’t tell me it’s from the Holy Spirit.

Amen, Philip. A thousand Amens, in fact. The sooner this man’s desecration of the Faith are put down the memory hole, save as an object lesson for the future, the better.

Yes, this could undo much of the damage done by the Bergoglio papacy, but I don’t think Pope ¡Lio!™ is up to it. He seems unwilling to set a course correction, and his reasons for this are irrelevant.
And to those who repeat the mantra of “give him time”, I can only reply: If the house you’re moving in to is on fire, you probably shouldn’t wait until you’re settled in to call the fire department.
Say what you will about his other writings, Pope Francis’ letter on St. Joseph is very good. You can see Pope Francis spiritually coming out in a very positive manner. I use it a lot when teaching about St. Joseph, especially the concept of the “tender heart” of St. Joseph. That is starting to become highlighted in the newer books and articles coming out on Joseph.
