People attempted to bully me when I was going through school. Somehow, I never shot anyone. A more interesting question is how this head case got promoted to sergeant.

Me too, and an expert marksman even at that age .. ditto.
My mother used to tell me once I reached adulthood that it was a miracle I didn’t turn out to be a homicidal maniac. I was never sure if she was joking. Of course the nattering press insists that we excuse evil. And if his ethnicity was different, we’d be talking about his white privilege and how he was an indication of Trump’s encouragement of the rise of the American Nazi party. I must admit that when I think about what enemies I need to pray for, the press is at the top of the list almost always.
A soldier with a stutter? Ehrm, ..angst about bullying aside, such a man doesn’t belong in the Army. In a business environment, a stutter might be an irritant. In a battle, ..it could be deadly.
My wager would be that NBC fabricated this account out of something one person said.
WAA WAA WAA. Grow up sergeant. I am so tired of stories like this in which the attacker is treated like the victim.
from the article – “Barrett and Coleman said something else must have happened, since it had been years since the initial military bullying.” That’s as good as telling us we wasted our time reading the article.
You should have already suspected reading the article was a waste of time because of the three letters at the top – NBC.
