Something for the weekend. Killing me Softly With His Song (1973) sung by Roberta Flack. The song was composed by Charles Fox. Lyrics were written by Norman Gimbel and Lori Lieberman. The song was based on Lieberman’s reaction to a Don McLean performance in 1971. Lieberman recorded the original song in 1972 which received little attention.
Bonus:
Used to comic effect in the movie About a Boy.

I think her voice is once in a generation. She never reached the fullness of her talent. I don’t know if she still sings. She married (co- habits) with one of Bob Marley’s children.
