“.. shortly before he died, Francis called all the cardinals he could trust and told them: ‘Please remember: after me, it’s the American’s turn. A missionary, an Augustinian, he willbe the best for the Universal Church.'”
Is Rich even Catholic?
That’s like something from a cheap Jack Chic cartoon.
As much as Bergoglio manifestly hated the USA, he never would have said anything like that.
Little Richie will swallow absolutely anything that smacks of Francis hagiography.
I was listening to Scott Adams as I was mowing the lawn recently and while the topic was the Russian collusion hoax, he said the most unbelievable stories are the ones in which a reporter recounts private comments to which he was never privy – as it is an attempt to mind read and/or wish fulfillment. That seems to track here too.
Damian asks; “if anyone believes this crap?”
Who’s the source?
Are there others who heard this?
When exactly, did he say this?
Rich?
romatoday…tomorrow da-pasture.
Don’t step in it.
