Triumph

Some war gamers enjoy the competitive play and the collegiality that can come with it.  For me it is always about the History.  “Roman” triumphs continued, shorn of their pagan roots, well into the Byzantine Era, with Christian prayers and ceremonies grafted on.  Human vanity has rarely worn such a deceptively attractive package.
