The Pope’s doctors are able to keep him alive in the hospital. Whether he will ever come out of the hospital alive, other than to immediately go into hospice, is the big question. “Stable” might indicate that no real progress is being made as to the Pope’s underlying health problems. We shall see.

Going back to one of these posts last week, I pray that the pope will call Cardinal Burke and make peace with him before he goes.
He will have to go on an entire apology tour to cover his flaws. At least Burke will be at the top of the alphabet.
