This young pretty black special agent in charge is a DEI promotion. You can gather that from the way she speaks and the way the other agents behind her act when she’s speaking.
She was likely told by her managers (who also have a stake in DEI) before the conference and before more evidence was acknowledged on site to say: “This wasn’t a terrorist attack..” likely for political reasons and/or immature -can’t miss game time reasons.
Not being a seasoned agent who would have known not to say that, not fit to command from experience, she seriously messed up. But don’t worry about her, she won’t be fired. The older white male agents behind her know full well they would have been, and they know not to take the command because the managers above her either DEI or in bed with it. This is the world we’re in right now. The real sad thing is any pretty black woman will be thought to be DEI even if she isn’t.

In fairness to the FBI, … I think mostly alike with David WS. In the last several years, political demands have been brutal to federal government agencies, FBI in particular. Official spokesmen (regardless of sex) cannot safely declare anything to be terrorism if a minority might be involved. Not until it’s proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. …White grandmas protesting outside abortion clinics obviously are not minorities, therefore they may be classified as “terrorists”. Nobody objects.
These attitudes originate more in academia, journalism, and entertainment media than in government. Driving them out will not be easy, even for Trump.
