Amen on the shot of the decade, century.
An extraordinary photo.

Biden has his cornpop moment.
Trump has his crossing the Delaware moment.

Trump in ’24.

Trump’s presence of mind to seize that moment was straight up gangsta!

Trump’s quick thinking demonstrates beyond doubt he’s of sound mind.

That photo is jaw dropping. It should win a Pulitzer, but let’s not kid ourselves. The committee would never let that happen.

I just read that the shooter was on a rooftop about 150 yards away. How on earth did the Secret Service detail not have control of, and eyes on, high ground so close to Trump?

“It’s time to put Trump in a bullseye,” – President Biden made that remark six days ago not thinking that some wack job would take his words to task.

Politico reported the quote.

Trump’s next speech ought to start with ‘Fellow Americans, lend me your ears’….

Even if the police were not sure of intentions, they should have fired a warning shot to both warn the former president and rattle the cage of the sniper.

It’s either gross incompetence to allow a shooter to get this close and without action, or it was an inside job attempt.

David WS, police must never fire warning shots, especially in a crowded venue, lest an errant bullet strikes an innocent bystander. I know nothing about security at political venues, but in my field of nuclear power, we have armed security guards stationed everywhere throughout the plant as part of 10 CFR 73.55. They are forbidden to ever fire warning shots. Rather, if they must shoot, then it’s shoot to kill, period. On-site security forces are periodically tested by the FBI, National Guard, etc. I cannot discuss any more than that. But warning shots? Never. The same I imagine is true of Secret Service guarding the President and Presidential candidates.
