Amazing that this fairly talentless, unpleasant man ended up as Pope.
Some deep cleansing possibilities are afoot?
Future Papal installment might be the cleaning agent to eradicate the tough stains that have embedded themselves within the halls of the Vatican. (?)
I’m trying to see where we can’t. Our vision is limited, but Providence has perfect unlimited sight. Who knows? Maybe this kidney stone was needed to flush to the surface agents of destruction.
What we are able to see is unbefitting of the Holy office, but we must place our trust in God
After all, the Almighty could of pulled his quarterback out of the game at anytime.
“enemies…” – ohh the gall, the intrigue -of those who oppose the destruction of Mother Church by Francis.

If you make enemies all your life, (a) you have a provocative intellect, and/or (b) you’re a bad communicator, and/or (c) you’re a jerk. So I guess we’re supposed to go with provocative intellect?
“Amazing that this fairly talentless, unpleasant man ended up as Pope.”
Not all that surprising when you consider the present state of the Church hierarchy.
we talking of our talentless president or the evil clown of the Vatican. I really can’t tell them apart.
He has been a useful tool for the State of the current Church. His mean and prickly personality aside, if he were the opposite and gentle and possessing good people skills, he could have still been a useful tool for the current faceless men. It wouldn’t change anything about the current State of the Church. The problem with PF is that he is a poor leader and is not upholding the true Catholic Faith and its traditions. It’s a character problem, not a personality problem with Francis.
