Obviously this Bull was having an identity crisis.
It’s a cow in a bulls body and was very upset to be put into a traditional role, having come out recently professing it’s identity…. rather, it’s self identity.
It wasn’t hurt.. physically.
It’s feelings we’re hurt.

My uncle was a rodeo clown in his younger life – responsible for distracting bulls while the riders got to safety. I knew it was dangerous but geez…

I was stationed in Spain for two years and saw many a bullfight. On one occasion, the bull was felt to be unwilling to fight and was replaced. On another, the bull fought so well that the fight was stopped and the bull was pardoned and removed. Such a bull lives out the rest of its life on the ranch making little bulls.
The meat from the killed bull was often given to the old folk’s home or orphanages. Some was sold to local bars. That’s where I tasted criadillas for the first time.

I found a picture of the old bar which has since expanded. The name means “Move over.” I think you can tell from the small size of the bar why.
