PopeWatch: Oops

PopeWatch thinks much of the clergy have been content to keep their heads down and hope that the Francis moment was an unpleasant blip in the life of the Church.  Francis has finally convince more of them that silent inaction is no longer a viable strategy.

The Peter principle.

(pun intended)

Stepping down, retirement, isn’t unheard of in this new millennium.

I think it was sometime around the end of 2014 the priests at the parish I was then attending stopped talking about Francis. At all.

Silence, in the face of wrong, can only be understood by the masses as approval. Speaking out for truth was the main reason they crucified our Lord. (And thus brought about our salvation)

PF is rarely mentioned outside of Mass intentions at my parish.

Fr. Jerry Pokorsky penned this insight in June of last year. His look at the use of ambiguity within certain circles to undermine the church via confusion is spot on, imo;

I believe the Good Lord asked Benedict to step down.. KNOWING that he/Benedict would live long.. Containing Frankie & Co. and the whole groupie bunch..,
All pent up F & C cut lose and overstepped a year after Benedict’s death -right before Christmas!
What a Gift to the Church!
On to the Conclave, I hope and pray.

Admonishing the sinner starts at the top. Keep on admonishing till he quits or gets the message and repents. There’s no third option.

Every body, all persons are called to bless, themselves, their children, the world our mother knows how to converse with sodomites.. Why are not the homsexual couples blessing one another?
Someone told me that the reason men stay in puberty and become homosexual sodomites is because women do not carry on conversation with these boys. Where are their fathers? Who has not taught the women how to converse with sodomites? Virgins, virtuous and virile consecrated men and women who live exemplary lives are all the sodomite needs. The Blessed Virgin Mary
If the sodomite refuses to listen to his conscience and refuses to bless himself, Pope Francis is not going to change that. Francis tried to bless a same-sex couple but it did not work because the sodomites do not bless themselves.

Oops…

Real or imaginary… the sex abuse claims are wiping out many an organization.

The Lavender Mafia has a extraordinary past.
Leaving in its wake destruction and hatred for anything Catholic. Statute of limitations be damned huh?

I do realize that some of the cases were not entirely man/boy abuses. Sin, however, can never be blessed.
