I have little use for contemporary Christian music, but I make an exception for this song. My view of God is that I am always in awe of Him, and to me He is as Mysterious as He is ALL-Powerful, the Transfiguration and Elijah’s meeting with God piercing my heart. The tune is quite powerful when sung with massed voices. Rich Mullins, the composer, was deeply influence by Saint Francis of Assisi, and indicated the night before his death in a car accident that he intended to seek admission to the Catholic Church.

Amen Don, great song and what a shame he died before entering the Church. But his faith was known to our Lord. Btw….he had not “indicted” but rather “indicated”, yes?
