As the 2024 cycle heats up, Democrats resort to drastic tactics with help from the Deep State. Newsweek reports on the FBI's efforts to label MAGA as "dangerous". pic.twitter.com/Rz7JnihBmo

The FBI is the secret police of the Democrat party. They must be abolished root and branch.
How about that.
The MAGA movement should be dangerous, not in the sense of thretening anyone’s life or limb (which it doesn’t do) but in the sense of opposing the political power of the Democrats, and that is exactly why the Democrats would rather have a police state than the Democracy after which their politicial party is named. I see this at my place of work. An anonymous person responded to the several condition reports by persons opposed to celebrating Pride Month last June by demanding these individuals be exposed and re-educated as hateful, intolerant employees who constitute a threat to the company. None of this is going to end well. Liberals and conservatives can no longer tolerate each other as the rule of law and fairness has been removed in capitulation to every immoral leftist cause under the guide of tolerance and diversity. And Roman Catholics in authority like Pope Francis and President Biden make this worse by their heresy, apostasy, and heterodoxy. I fear violent times are coming.
What bothers me is that street-level Democrats make excuses for this or pretend it isn’t happening.
You remember back about 2004 when BigLaw associates were knocking each other over to do pro bono work for Gitmo detainees? Did their counterparts 17 years later do squat for the J6 defendants? If someone not named ‘Alan Dershowitz’ or ‘Glenn Greenwald’ tells you they’re a ‘civil liberties’ lawyer, assume they’re an utter fraud.
MAGAnomics are radical. -jb
Ha! Joe’s economics are killing us.
I’m afraid LQC is right.
It’s going to get ugly.
Buying votes by having you and me fund the college education of 128,000 people.. without OUR say. Erase college debt?
Why not give every college graduate an equal benefit?
Diesel shortages.
Emergency fuel reserves sold off.
Abuse of power for personal financial gains.
Kill the economy that MAGAnomics, that radical
scheme, had fostered?
Democrats know one thing when it comes to economic policies.
How to make the blue collar families suffer buy building nothing and spending everything.
Excuse me. Their building
battery plants in Michigan owned by CCP industrialists.
The Big guy will get his cut while the MAGA supporters are contemptible?
Taxation for what?
So we can be bullied by these thugs and threatened with jail time for trying to save the lives of an unborn child.

“The real action is in the enemy’s reaction.”
Saul D. Alinsky, Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals
They are seeding the narrative that Trump supporters are domestic terrorists, while committing injustices towards Trump and his supporters, waiting for the real action to occur.
And if and when someone somewhere does something they’ll blare it across all media giving people two choices: either you too are a domestic terrorist or you’re not.
They did it with 1/6, they’re doing it again.
I’d prefer a comprehensive approach to the problem:
A. Dramatic reduction in the amount of text in the federal penal code, and extirpating vague and contrived charges. You have process crimes and adjacent (e.g. jury tampering, bail jumping), you have offenses wherein the federal government or its working employees are victims of sorts (e.g. tax evasion or trespassing on federal property or resisting arrest), you have a few national security offenses (treason, treachery, espionage, insurrection), you have offenses involving official misconduct by federal employees (e.g. bribery) or by public officials in general (e.g. civil rights violations), you have organized crime with actors in multiple states; you have offenses wherein crossing a state line, shepherding someone across a state line, shipping merchandise across a state line, contracting for services across a state line, servicing a traveler, sending electronic data across a state line, or transferring funds across a state line is integral to the offense. Nothing in the federal penal code should fall outside these categories. Remember the pervy Subway pitchman? The excuse for trying him in federal court was that the digital camera his perv-buddy owned was manufactured with out-of-state parts. That mass shooter who opened fire on a Pittsburgh synagogue was tried in federal court because it was classified as a ‘hate crime’. This has to stop.
B. Recalibrate the sentencing schedule of the federal penal code so that it is similar to the median of the states for comparable crimes. About 3.5% of all judges are found in the federal courts, but 11% of all convicts are in federal prison. Limit the discretion of judges over sentencing to whether or not to approve a plea agreement.
C. Discontinue the use of grand juries and require federal prosecutors to obtain an information from a judge or panel of judges following a preliminary hearing in order to proceed with a case. Require the trial judge be different from the judges issuing the information.
D. Distribute federal investigatory functions among four or five departments. Put prosecution in a different department. Do not vest prosecutors with the authority to initiate or conduct investigations, but require they receive a referral and dossier from an investigatory service operating within their jurisdiction, updated as new information is collected. They can advise investigators, but they do not direct investigations.
E. Invest outside inspectors with a franchise to conduct unannounced audits of the case assignment system in each jurisdiction, including putting office clerks in a rubber room and putting them under oath. You really think the case assignments were random in re the three Trump cases?
F. Require US Attorneys offices to indemnify defendants for some portion of the costs of their defense. Example: Oliver North, who was eventually convicted on just 3 counts of a 23 count indictment. (IIRC, those convictions were later vacated). Another example: the late Bruce Ivins, who incurred > $30,000 in costs before ever being indicted and committed suicide in despair.
G. Require prosecutors to disclose to juries and to judges in bench trials the content of plea offers made to the defendant.
H. End unqualified immunity for judges and prosecutors.
I. Debar the management-level employees of the FBI and the line employees in the Washington office from federal employment going forward.
J. Except for rarefied technical knowledge or circumstances where offenses occurred in multiple jurisdictions, leave the business of technical assistance to local police where it belongs – with state police. In re that child-killer who shot up the school in Nashville, FBI involvement should have been nil.
K. Again, no more omnibus federal police services. Have bureaux with quite specialized books, distributed over four or five departments.
L. Make it a point to not put lawyers in charge of federal police services. Hire state and local police chiefs.
