Philip, before working on any caps, better check with the hospital. Most hospitals stopped allowing outsiders donating clothing, such as caps, booties, blankets, etc. due to “liabilities”.

A family member of one of our residents takes them to the hospital but oh how the times are a-change-n.
If a hospital doesn’t take things for infants, they might take them for adults. I received a very nice handmade afghan and a handmade apron-thingy to stick my icky drain bottles in while being treated for breast cancer 2 years ago. Both greatly appreciated!
