Another material heretic in the Francis curia gets a promotion. The guy who said 2 plus 2 can equal 5, now in charge of “education.” What could go wrong?
The Papacy of Destruction continues. How long, O Lord?
I look at it this way: we call her Holy Mother Church for a reason. Like any mother, we love her and owe our (spiritual) life to her, but like any mother she will drive us crazy sometimes. Now it seems as if Mother Church has fallen victim to some kind of dementia or mental illness in which she no longer recognizes her most faithful children, and has even become hostile to them and accuses them of things they have not done. It hurts very much when that happens, but you have to continue to love them anyway and remind yourself that this isn’t your “real” mom speaking. And in this case, you can continue to pray that somehow she will snap out of it and be restored to health.

It isn’t your mom that is speaking. It is your sister who doesn’t like you or your mother very much telling you what your mother said.
A guy who essentially quoted O’Brien from 1984 is the real number 1 in the Dicastery of Education and Culture.
So, if the Church, like the Party, tells you 2+2 = 5, you must agree. Neat!
