Bergoglio is the one who needs to resign. He’s Satan’s pope.

From your Lifesite link from Bishop Strickland; “I know they won’t stop you and they won’t stop me. And we do it with love, and charity and clarity, and with humility, always ready to be corrected. But when we’re speaking of the truth of Jesus Christ, there is no correction. The world can try and shout us down, but it won’t work.”
And if Bishop Strickland says “No”, excommunication?

This action by the Vatican is shameful. Here in NZ many of us applaud Bp. Strickland. I have heard that there is a parishioner in a nearby parish who is moving to the USA, specifically to Bp. Strickland’s diocese because he presents as a truly outstanding Apostle for Christ. May The Lord keep & protect him.

If this story is legit, and there isn’t any indiscretions within the diocese that boarder on criminal activity, then I would hope fellow Bishops would publicly step forward in solidarity to the aid of Bishop Strickland.
Obedience always?
In the case of a superior who is angry or spiteful at a subordinate for admonishing that superior of wrongful or destructive behavior? Bishop Strickland became the target for saying the truth.

I’m no canon lawyer, so I don’t know the grisly details of what can happen if Bp Strickland refuses to resign, but I believe the pope can simply order a bishop removed from his see and remove his faculties. I’m thinking Canon Law probably says there needs to be a good reason to do that, and since no such reason apparently exists other than Strickland publicly criticizing Francis (fraternally, which is ironic given PF’s oration yesterday about fraternal correction), his advisors are likely telling PF to get Strickland to resign voluntarily. That way, they probably think a successor pope would have a harder time restoring him to the Tyler ordinariate than if he were removed “for cause.” Just my speculation here.
it would be great if the USCCB stood up for Bp. Strickland, but if that happened I would be wanting to check the ambient temperature in Hell, because it likely would be freezing over.
He says “Pope not only has a duty to guard and preserve the “static” deposit of faith, but also a second, unique charism, only given to Peter and his successors, which is “a living and active gift.” “I do not have this charism, nor do you, nor does Cardinal [Raymond] Burke. Today only Pope Francis has it,”
So the Bergog is now a Prophet and to oppose his every whim is now going against the “faith”.

The Faithful become collateral damage when this sort of stuff happens.
