Go here to read the story.  Ah if only Christ had been as enlightened as a 21rst century Pharisee Leftist.

I think I would have to walk out.
What else is there to do?
All these old heresies that had been answered are floating to top again

What’s next from the enlightened one?

Chastise God the Father for His racist conduct against the homosexual acts before Christ appeared?

So many millstones. Wait until you see what rigidity is up close and personal. But of course, that’s only for those who believe that there is a hell. So many enlightened one’s disagree with that concept that they will go out on the branch and suggest Christ was a sinner.

New theology. Old consequences.

I’m not even sure Arius went that far.

It’s still OK to be bigoted against trads, right?

They put the moron into oxymoron.

Sinner + Christ= cancel each other out.

I honestly wish that Gospel passage had not been included in the liturgical cycle. It’s probably the single most spiritually hazardous one for a preacher in the modern era.

Once every three years, we get treated to blasphemies and heresies like this in 90% of our parishes, because seminary formation is a joke.

Jesus Christ is God. God cannot sin against truth. God cannot sin against creation.
God cannot sin against innocence.God cannot sin.

As CS Lewis said,
God in the Dock.
American translation,
God as defendant, Man as judge.

Yes, it IS as absurd as it sounds.
