Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.



To win any war, a war of evil aggression, a war of climate change, drought, famine, pestilence, all wars, people must have ‘their Creator”, God on our side.
To hold people responsible for the work of God is simply unjust and evil.
They’ve been shifting to focus on awards and collateral duties/considerations since the 90s– that’s part of why they keep running low on folks who can actually do a job, because they’re too busy doing their jobs to get advanced, then they hit high tenure and have to get out.
Winning in battle is all about preparation. Observe the situation as it is and not how you “wish it to be”. The job of our military is to beat the enemy. The mission is not to create parks and pretty places. Marines break stuff and blow things up. Making the world a better place by helping our enemies meet their maker earlier than they expected. Too many idiots receive college degrees and think they really matter in the world. The best defense is to be on the offense always.
But the suburban Karens and blue-haired howler monkeys have the memory span of a greenbottle fly and comprehension capacity of its food. If you were to point all the failed predictions out to them, you’d get something somewhere in between blank stares and shrill, flailing invective.
