If my own close observation of partisan Democrats is representative they fall into two categories: those who will twist their heads into knots to justify this and those who don’t bother with that and whose conception of legal guilt or innocence is unrelated to law or to what their target has done or not done.
I work with several partisan Democrats. They all believe Trump is a criminal and that he’s guilty on all charges, but not one of them has bothered to find out what the charges are. So, there’s the third category, Art … those that just believe what they’re told to believe without a thought about it. The obediently uninformed.

The Zombies simply pull the D lever every two to four years without having any clue as to what they’re doing.
