PopeWatch: A Sin
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 41 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
That worthless idiot of a pope doesn’t know the first thing about Christianity. Jesus himself looked all the way back to Genesis for his teaching on the indissolubility of marriage. He didn’t look to the norms of his time for inspiration. To hell with Francis and everyone like him.
But who is he to judge?
He acts as though he can create new categories of “sin” to use as a cudgel against his perceived enemies. He not only is evil, he is mentally unfit. This is one more piece of evidence the Vatican is full of cowards. Where are the Cardinals to rebuke this mad man?
What will those in the reparations movement say when they find out that looking backwards is a sin?
“typically mean-spirited but incoherent outburst”
Just like another “good Catholic” we know. Still can’t help wondering why we have to be cursed with both a bad president AND a bad pope at the same time?
I remember talking to a friend during the Pope Benedict / President Bush era, that we can never complain about anything again. I think as Americans we’re used to half the presidents being awful and the other half still pretty bad. I’m just not used to being disappointed in a pope.
Who can judge who can or cannot judge -> that is our judgment.
Tradition is bad and hence forth -> that is our tradition.
Francis’ Jesuitical mind as a black box:
Input ->
[rigid is bad, tradition is rigid, so too logic]
-> nonsensical output
This is the sound of disappointment that the Pope has declared the study of human history a sin.
Any one else notice the similarities in behavior, mental and physical, between the Pope and our President? Possibly Canon Law should be amended to include the equivalent of the 25th Amendment.
“without roots” “I am the vine. You are the branches.”
Jesus Christ is the root for traditional Catholics who harken back to the Savior, His Sacraments, His Church and His saints.
Show me your roots Bergoglio.
It would be better for him who scandalizes one of these little ones to have a millstone around his neck and be drowned in the sea or the Tiber. He is so full of hot air, Francis would float. The church of Pope Francis does not allow Popes to walk on water as Saint Peter did.
