This scene was the first “source” outside my father’s statements that American government was stifling and blundering. I later learned from the founding fathers the same cautionary ideas. Even later, I worked for a federal agency for a few years.

This is a coincidence as my kids are currently watching the Indianan Jones movies and are up to Raiders.
Not sure if any of the “myths” behind the Ark have ever been accurate. Didn’t some French Looney once theorise that the Ark of the Covenant was Mary Magdalene and that (God forgive me for saying this) Mary Magdalene and Jesus had a family and Jesus bloodline has continued?

Our Lady Mary is the ark of the covenant. Some people want to believe that the Merovingian and Carolingian dynasties are descendant of Mary Magdalene and Jesus and that the crowned heads of Europe are actually divine. We, the people are divine because Jesus gives us divinity with His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

I know. I was in labor with my second child in a Catholic hospital and there was no crucifix on the wall so as not to offend the atheists. Now, I carry my own crucifix.
Our children learn hopelessness and despair while we pander to nonsense. Atheists are kept in existence by God.

Something for the 4th of July
The Lord’s Prayer: “Our Father…” includes every member of humankind. At EWTN and Father Spitzer’s Universe, Father Spitzer says that archeologists have uncovered graves dating back 70,000 years meaning that man became conscious of himself and began burying his dead.
“We, the people” no less includes every member of humankind, our ancestors, us and our constitutional Posterity promised in the Preamble the Blessings of Liberty.
The import of this is that humankind is placed in natural law, about and beyond any human law unless our human law is based on natural law.
Man’s legislation must be based on natural law to be true; to provide for humankind.
Our Founding Fathers knew this. Our reading and teaching of our Founding Principles have fallen into ignorance and selfishness.
Roe v. Wade never bore the burden of proof that the newly begotten innocent soul of a human being was not human; was not of humankind.
So too, Dredd Scott was never proved to be less than a member of human kind. In fact Dredd Scott was enslaved because he was a member of humankind.
Babies are aborted because they are a member of humankind.
Our Posterity must be re-patriated, ransomed and acknowledged to be our brothers and sisters in Christ and God’s children.
How do abortionists know that their victim will not want her child next year? There is no law of the land that slaughters humankind.
