To me it was surprising, in light of the constant flow of toxic waste coming out of Hollywood these days, just how many excellent, or at least entertaining, films used to be made every year. I thought my birth year would be lacking anything exceptional. Boy, was I wrong. Here’s my favorite Hitchcock film, with several of my favorite actors.

The original is best, imho. It’s still a sad commentary on Hollywood’s elites and the goings on that can suddenly snuff out the life of a young promising actress. I’ve been to Catalina island numerous times and thoughts Natalie Wood’s final moments always accompany me.
God rest her soul.
