Most political prognosticators are now saying that this is indeed a Republican wave year, that the House is definitely going GOP and that the Senate is slipping beyond the grasp of the Democrats. With the abysmal economy in a first term mid term this was going to be a bad year for the Democrats no matter what, but they have made it worse by focusing 24-7 on abortion to the exclusion of almost all other issues.
The insanity of this approach is obvious, especially when consideration is given that militant pro-aborts were certain votes for the Democrats in any case, and few things are more damaging for any political campaign than only preaching to your choir.
For the Party of the Jackass, this is the year of live by abortion, die by abortion.

Education is ??? Sad to say, the only categories in the above bar graph where democrats lead is women and those with advanced degrees. Should we repeal the 19th Amendment and bar those with phd’s from the vote?
The Dem advantage among women is almost entirely among single women, often with kids, who have in effect married the State. Recent advanced degrees these days often indicate that the possessor has mastered the art of repeating the shibboleths of the Left who overwhelmingly dominate campuses.
The Dems may find loosing Congress to be a blessing if the railroads do go on strike after the election. The media will blame the GOP, of course; 48 to 43 is not that impressive a majority
