You’re probably familiar with “Thor‘s flying hammer”. He holds out has hand and says the hammer’s name.

But have you ever seen a Corgi fly?
I have. “Caaaat!”

In other news. Mitch McConnell became the 11th Republican to side with all 50 dems in the Senate to make the latest gun grabber garbage filibuster-proof. Conservative senate republicans really need to get their act together and find a way to push McConnell out.

This might appear to be a bit of a wrap-around, but it’s Principled. Definitely off topic.
I’m very much in favor of anything that keeps weapons of mass murder out of the hands of mass murderers. Persons and Nation States.

Background checks on 18 year old’s that includes juvenile records doesn’t seem to be a bad idea. Neither does an encouragement (not mandate) of red flag laws, which I know could be abused but could also stop a mass murderer. There is the remedy of Courts.

Keeping with it, that is why I am much in favor of keeping the 2nd Amendment as the Law of the Land without amendment.
It’s of course a check, totalitarian states are biggest mass murderers of all.

It’s my understanding that New York has red flag laws … They didn’t stop Buffalo from happening.

None of this legislation keeps guns out of the hands of mass murderers. Keeping the Second Amendment as law and not amendment? What in the hell does that mean other than it’s not constitutional?

IMO, an authorization for federal authorities to assemble an offender database which can be consulted by gun dealers, regulations regarding the shipment of guns and ammo across jurisdictional lines, and regulations in regard to sales of guns to travelers from out of state are legitimate subjects for federal legislation. So are tariffs and excises on the traffic in guns and ammo. So are provisions in the federal penal code which define the use of firearms to further a federal crime as itself a crime and meriting a supplementary penalty (provided, of course, that the foundational federal crime is a prohibition that its legitimate for the Congress to enact). I’m not seeing how legislative enactments beyond that are a delegated power.

Here’s a prayer I saw on Twitter,

“Lord, stretch my gas the way you did the two fish and the five loaves.” Amen

The new animation offering from Disney Pixar, Lightyear, apparently has a SS kiss in it. Dang it (my kids wanted to watch it). Unsurprisingly it’s been banned in ME countries. It’s been a steep slippery slope for Disney over past 10 years. Hope loss of $$ hits them where they understand.

On a side, is that pilot serious? The cat looks petrified.

Do not boycott Disney because you think it will make them go broke and stop their woke ways. This won’t work for three reasons.

1.) There are tons of people who mindlessly consoom modern entertainment and will still watch anyway (maybe with a little more grumbling.)
2.) Disney has so much capital built up that even if they did take huge losses it would be years before they’d have to do something about it.
3.) They are death cultists who view propaganda as more important than money and would continue doing what they were doing even if it would make them broke.

But you SHOULD boycott them for your own sake and for the sake of your children.

The big difference is that you have to realize that they are likely never going to be good. Shake their dust from your feet and stop hoping for a reversal. Your hope for good entertainment will come from new conservative creators, not huge corporations. The modern world also has some of the easiest access to classic entertainment: use it.
