Revolutions tend to occur when governing elites not only have no solutions to the problems besetting a nation, they are often unable to grasp what the problems are. The show trial put on by the Democrats on Thursday evening amply demonstrates that they are firmly in the out of touch elites category.
Pelosi hired a production crew on the tax payers’ nickel. (Wonder if they all were in makeup and coiffed?) She passed it off as a committee hearing, which it was not. An expensive farce. Only FOX of the major networks refused to cover it. Their prime time lineup was on as usual. The advertisers on the other networks must have lost a bundle.
Will be happy to see Cheney lose her seat in NOV.
Pelosi is a vapid individual and it’s comforting knowing that individuals like her don’t escape the justice which awaits in the next life. Don’t stress too much over people like her.
Cheny was just plain weird. Only the true believers on the left could possibly take her seriously. At the rate this committee is going, the next election will rival Reagan’s 49 state win.
Trump isn’t taking the temperature of the room, either.
What’s interesting is that our political system has worked for some time to reward people whose principal skill in life is running fundraising and publicity campaigns. They know how to ‘work a room’, but perhaps we’ve reached a point where the only people in the room are donors, nitwit partisans, regime media, and the people on the payroll.
Cheney was just plain weird.
I’ll re-iterate that Lizard Cheney has exposed herself as someone whose loyalty is to the nomenklatura full stop. It’s amazing Wyoming voters ever accepted her. The residence she, her husband, and her oldest daughter use as a voting address is a vacation property they bought around Jackson Hole. It’s the only Democratic county in the state. Indubitably, she was a frequent visitor to Wyoming when her father was in Congress, but the only time in her life she might have lived there f/t year-round was in 1977 and 1978, if then. She has an uncle living in Casper and a cousin who lives in Cody with her husband and children, but otherwise no family there.
