I find some areas, such as Hayek’s promotion of government run social security programs, to be highly problematic, in his work THE ROAD TO SERFDOM; however, in his quoting of Julien Benda regarding “the superstition of science held to be competent in all areas”, they both hit the bullseye. “Wanting to give the prestige of a scientific appearance to passions of their hearts” (or wallets).
