The current Leftist talking point that Critical Race Theory is not taught in k-12 is breathtakingly dishonest. Before the current reaction to it, schools around the nation were celebrating it and orientating their entire curriculum to be “anti-racist”. This of course is a Marxist offshoot where race is a substitute for class. When Leftists are caught on the wrong side of public opinion their first impulse is usually to lie and hide. As the recent elections demonstrated, this strategy is not working this time, because parents choose to believe what they see occurring at their local schools. For many people their kids are the most important feature of their life and racist indoctrination of their kids by the Left is deeply unpopular.

A VERY common leftist tactic is to conflate “X does not exist” with “X is not bad.” They did it previously with political correctness. Even today many claim that Political Correctness is a right wing myth. But they will also generally say that, for example, calling someone a policeman instead of a police officer is only something a bigot would do and yes people should take action against you if you use the wrong terminology. Sometimes they will even call this being politically correct (but only in environments where everyone agrees being PC is a good thing.) Similarly they claimed that it was a myth that they would ever start trying to normalize homosexual relationships in children’s books and classrooms, and continued to claim it is was a myth even after they were doing this on a widespread scale. The counter argument was always “what kind of bigot wouldn’t want kids to know about ‘perfectly normal’ same sex relationships?” That is, even though they claimed it was a myth they were doing this, their counterargument admitted they were doing it but claimed it was a good thing.
CRT is more of the same. Against a hostile argument they will say it doesn’t exist, but to a sympathetic argument they will brag about it. When actual CRT courses are found they generally will not claim that they are not CRT, but instead say that the CRT being taught only taught good lessons about racism. From the start whenever they said “CRT doesn’t exist” they really meant “CRT is a good thing that we need more of.”
Most conservatives have not fully internalized how frequently or how flagrantly leftist lie.

Years ago, Ann Coulter provided sound advice as to how to deal with a lying lefty [redundant]- if you must.
It was simply to ask three questions. One, “What data, facts, proof do you have?” Two, “Compared to what?” Three, “How much will it cost?”
Recently, another media woman simplified those simple questions with, “Let’s Go Brandon!”

So Critical Race Theory says that white people are born racist, that it is wired into their white DNA.
Critical Race Theory also says that black people are born disadvantaged and are an inferior race and it is wired into their black DNA.
That they are unable to climb out of their inferiority without the white man denouncing his whiteness and that the black man is at the mercy of the white man unless he denounces his wretched superior self. That the black man is bound by his blackness while at the same time the white man bounds the black man by his whiteness.
This makes CRT, at its core, a thoroughly racist ideology to both the white person and black person. More so the black person, who it alleges to help because CRT is saying race determines their standing and destiny in life.
Don’t they see the irony in what they are peddling here?
