Good on her. Premier Andrews was handed $400 in fines for not wearing a mask lasts week outside of parliament. He is also currently under investigation by the States corruption watchdog for past secret dealings with Firefighting Unions. I hope this is the start of his undoing.
When I was on active duty in the Navy, Australia was one of the most popular liberty ports. I made one port call to Freemantle/Perth on my very last deployment in 1990. We were treated like celebrities. Now it’s one of the last places any sailor would want to visit on the back end of a hard deployment. I have fond memories of the Aussies. It makes what’s going on there all the more painful to watch.
