Old Fashioned Racism and Old Fashioned Hate

Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce.

Karl Marx, The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte (1852)

Few things are sadder than the revival of bad ideas. As the Bible notes, the capacity of dogs to return to their vomit is infinite.  The Far Left is seeking to revive communism with the help of raw anti-White racism.  It says all we need to know about our so-called elites that so many of them have signed on to this transparent crime against sanity.  The will to power is one of the baser features of our humanity and it is always eager to seize on any excuse to dominate others.  Moral cowards like General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are willing to go along for the ride to safeguard their phony baloney jobs, the country be damned.

A reminder that -only the poor in spirit are actually free.

My city in Massachusetts has announced that it will NOT be teaching CRT. It’s here, thank God, that same resolve of Lexington and Concord, just dormant. It’s like we let the crazy blue Dems play their games. Until we don’t.

David WS, I long ago left Massachusetts (only to have my Connecticut go even further left) If Massachusetts resists C R T that indeed would baffle science.

What sets this racism apart, however, is that it’s driven largely by whites. But the way my sons explained it, since they’ve run into this in college full force, is that the white liberals advocating this appear to see ‘white’ in two different ways. On one hand, they’re white, in that they’re white. And their righteousness is displayed by repenting being white because of the second part of white. That is, white means what black means to the KKK, or Jew meant to Germans in the 1930s. That’s not what those whites consider themselves. It’s what white is for whites who haven’t converted to
to the new left. White used that way means ‘those people over there’, those who haven’t seen the leftwing light Of course we’re seeing non-whites warm up to this and more and more it’s non-white carrying the torch for ‘eliminate whiteness.’ And they also mean ‘white’ the way the KKK means black, or Germans meant when they said Jew. Whether these non-whites warming up to this will understand the distinction white liberals want them to understand remains to be seen.

If our Republican state legislators were not useless, the state teachers’ colleges would be shuttered before the year is out. The teachers’ colleges are the source of this. Also, local school boards need to be given the franchise to clear the decks and hire superintendants from the ranks of late-career men from other occupations – e g business and the military. People from outside the guild can then replace the fools in principal’s offices.

Child abuse in another form- humiliating the young in the classroom (what’s meant to be a safe neutral place of learning and growth), by brainwashing them with talks about sexuality. That girls testimony was heartbreaking.

I saw three minutes of that political, four-star POS’s BS.

If I were one of the Congressmen I’d have stood him up at a brace and gone full Gunny Ermey on him.

Then, next day, I’d introduce a bill stripping him of his pension, busting him to private, and giving him a DD.

That Gen touts that his cadets are to be well read (paraphrase for allowing it), but, similarly, when discussions or even challenges to CRT are made, they are silenced based on their skin color. Unless they are allowing critical discussion of this material, which seems only to be based on color of skin.
It seems to me an easy out for him. His is trying to appease both sides. Unless he is allowing for critique of material from all people, not just based on skin color, then it is pandering. It also stands to affect morale.

This CRT reminds me of the games we would play w older siblings where if you were getting the upper hand, they change the rules to the game. Childish.

“I would have told him that he will soon be retiring, but for any other officers who are going along with this woke business the Democrats will not be in power forever, and when the political wheel turns there will be payback for officers who put being woke above the national defense.“

Problem is, few Republicans pack the stones to stand up to this wokeism.

I was informed that Mark Shea chimed in:

“Boy, the Right Wing Character Assassination Squads are really gunning for Gen. Milley. All these pampered gutless swine who never served a day in their lives piling on cuz he threw a spotlight on their racism. What a bunch of gormless dweebs.”

One source I could locate has this information on the Republicans on the Armed Services Committee:

James Inhofe (standard issue Cold War Army service, 2 yrs)
Roger Wicker (Air Force, post-VietNam. 4 yrs active duty, 23 years reserves, b. 1951)
Tom Cotton (US Army, 4 years active duty, 4 years reserves, combat service, Iraq)
Mike Rounds (no service, b. 1954)
Tom Tillis (no service, b 1960)
Dan Sullivan (Marine Corps, 6 years active duty; 22 years reserves, combat in Iraq).
Kevin Kramer (no service, b. 1961)
Rick Scott (US Navy, enlisted 1970; 2 years & change)
Josh Hawley (no service, b. 1979)
Tommy Tuberville (no service, b. 1954)
Joni Ernst (Army National Guard, 12 years)
Deb Fischer (no service, female)
Marsha Blackburn (no service, female).

The only ones of an age to be subject to conscription were Messrs. Inhofe and Wicker. The Korea armistice was signed just weeks after Inhofe completed high school. Wicker was not drafted in 1971 because he had a high lottery number.

Messrs. Rounds, Tillis, Kramer, and Tuberville were all born in the same bloc of years (1954-64): never subject to conscription and over the statutory age limit to enlist in September 2011. Rounds and Tuberville could conceivably have enlisted in the fall of 1972; almost no one did that at that time because for over a year at that point the census of American forces in VietNam had been rapidly reduced (and were reduced to a three-digit number by the end of January 1973). Tillis and Cramer, were, of course, too young for VietNam service. You’ll recall the 1st Gulf War was fought by activating the reserves. If any of them had enlisted, it’s unlikely they’d ever have deployed before they finished their basic training. In any case, Rounds was too old and had dependent children, Tuberville was 7 weeks shy of being too old, and Cramer had dependent children.

What a maroon.

And Joni is, of course, a combat veteran.
Also a rather good politician and has great taste in staff. (I haven’t met her, haven’t met a single person from her office/staff that didn’t act like they realized that voters are who they serve.)

The “pampered swine” crack is another petty crime. As far as I can discern, only one of the 13 could be described as having a patrician upbringing, and he’s one of the combat veterans. Several might be described as ‘fancy middle class’. The rest appear to have been common-and-garden middle class or working class or have indicia of that (small town or rural upbringing, attending common-and-garden colleges &c).

General Mark Milley apologized for being with Trump at the St. John’s church visit.

The circumstances being what they were at that moment in time, I’d have been inclined to have relieved him of command the following day. Note, he yapped at the time about maintaining the military as a non-political institution, so his countenance of Austin’s sh!tty projects is especially revolting.

The CCP identifies the Chinese people as its biggest threat.

Ergo, they’ve instructed their Chinese Occupation Junta to prepare the politicized military for the war on domestic terrorists, i.e., freedom loving Americans.
