News you can use:
To start, it’s important to understand that all bears are really smart. They can solve complex problems and have great memories. That means they’ll learn how to interact with humans if given the chance. They’ll use these experiences to decide whether or not you’re a threat or if you are potential food.
Secondly, it’s important to note that just like there are good people and the occasional grouchy psychopath, bears are individuals too. Most bears are totally ok with humans in their environment and don’t try to get mixed up in human affairs. But occasionally a random bear ends up eating someone.
Go here to read the rest. In my 64 years on this planet I have done my best to avoid being killed by a bear, and thus far my effort in this area has been a raging success. Unless I encounter one in court, one never really knows what one will encounter in court, I think I will continue my winning streak.
More bears! America needs to solve its liberal crisis.
What most people don’t realize is how fast bears can move. Especially moving uphill. And the stereotype about the ferocious Mama Bear protecting her cubs is no lie.
Yep Cathy, for beasts so large they do move very swiftly and their general mood can best be described as mercurial. Dangerous beasts to take lightly under any circumstance.
I feel like Don is not telling us the full truth. Get the full facts at:

(By one of the Babylon bee authors so you know it’s highly accurate.)
There is a bear up north that fits the description of the mean, grouchy ol’ bear who is threat to everyone and all the other critters out there. One 78 year old hunter I know pulled bear permits this year to try and deal with the issue.
Years ago my cousins in MN had summer jobs in the big parks. One or two of their pals from the same town were killed by grizzleys. On the east coast swimming pools are an attractant for black bears and their cubs. I’ve been told they leave behing their DNA..
The Bear facts.
We have to keep our good bird feeders inside until June. We make homemade feeders out of plastic bottles for our feathered friends.
April and May we have bears visiting our feeders. They bend our shepard’s hook over as if it was made with aluminum instead of steel. They are beautiful black bears with a distinguished white patch on the high torso area. Exciting at times when mom has the Cubs in tow, but by then they are not into bird feed.
We get the hungry bears after their hibernation.
I lived on Kodiak island for a brief time. I have witnessed the enormity of the Big Browns in person.
WOW!
The stuffed Brown bear on display in the terminal of Kodiak’s airport is a reminder to visitors that they, the bears, are not to be toyed with.
Here’s another reminder;

Think how many people were saved from being eaten by bears due to the lockdowns. Now think of how many poor bears were deprived of a fully balanced diet, devoid of nutritious human flesh, due to that same lockdown.
My conclusion; Fauci hates bears, because they won’t wear masks outside.
Ha!

That is one of my favorite movies Tito! The late Brian Keith was born to play TR!

May their souls rest in peace. They paid a steep price for their folly. If you are going to get close to bears, always a bad idea, keep heavy fire power immediately at hand.
“When asked if I wanted my pizza cut into four or eight slices, I replied: ‘Four. I don’t think I can eat eight.’
– Yogi Berra – “The Yogi Book”
A local nature writer, when asked to distinguish the behaviors of the grizzly bear and black bear, said: “Grizzlies have no reverse.”
Treadwell attended Bradley University in Peoria, Il. for a while. It’s a pity he dropped out before he could learn anything about bears.
There’s a great sf story, “The Bears Discover Fire,” by Terry Bisson, about the nobility of bears and the lack therof of man. See here:
