PopeWatch: Profanity

Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself. (1 Cor 11:27-29).

PopeWatch is sure that the worst Pope in the history of the Church will get right on this.

“Lord, where shall we go? You have the Words of Eternal Life.” [ paraphrasing]

Where indeed?
It seems very clear that the only sure sign of salvation IS The Holy Catholic Church. Jesus established that Truth.

Why on Earth do men of “good will” muddy waters that are perfectly clean and clear?
Why do they invent short cuts to only end up offering gifts to the God of Relativism?

If commonality and unity is truly sought after then utilize the proper means. Having a one night stand with the author of chastity, purity and faithfulness isn’t going to cut it.
[ communion for a day ]

Fish or cut bait.

Choosing to profane the Eucharist is one thing, but deliberately allowing and supporting it by silence and complicity is a far greater evil.

These bishops don’t know the basics about the doctrine of the Eucharist. I’m embarrassed for them. Because if they did they wouldn’t participate in this. I really believe we don’t need many bishops. Start culling. They don’t do any real work and haven’t for most of their lives. A busy productive Bishop is fruitful and doesn’t have time for this sort of experimentation in desecrating the Holy Host. The Body of our Lord. Too many of them being lazy fat cats at the expense of the Church for decades. And they get lazier by the minute.

The cathedral of St. Bartholomew (which I visited in 2005) once witnessed the coronations of the Holy Roman Emperors, after they no longer went to Rome. It was the pride of Frankfurt, and when damaged by a 19th century fire, Catholics, Protestants and even non-Christians contributed to its restoration. This “ecumenical” bunch did not select the site at random, in the city where the ancient national unity was once celebrated and where the new unity was proclaimed in 1848 (although at St. Paul’s Church). So this is not about Christianity, but about Germany.
