“If I don’t look after the interests of the underprivileged, maybe somebody else will, maybe somebody without any money or property… and that would be too bad!”
Charles Foster Kane (Orson Welles) to Walter Parks Thatcher (George Coulouris), Citizen Kane (1941) Screenplay
The so-called elites in our society hate Trump with a passion, and ultimately drove him from power by hook and, mostly, crook. Ironically Trump may have been our last chance to avoid radical transformations in our society caused by the fecklessness of the same elites.
The elites are showing their true feelings about the despicables. There will be some comment, some executive order, some state legislation that triggers action. Local radio stations are encouraging conservatives from all walks of life to become candidates for school boards, city councils, delegates, supervisors, state senators, governors.
Even McCarthy visited President Trump for help with 2022 Congressional campaigns. Liz Cheney is in trouble; Rep Gaetz (?) even went to Wyoming to encourage the ground swell against here. I’m hoping someone will do the same against Romney. Utah is a very conservative state.
I think a mistake that Trump made was to delegate selection and support of Congressional candidates to the Republican Establishment. It was very disheartening to see the McConnell machine relentlessly use disinformation campaigns against constitutional conservatives then Trump even visiting for rallies supporting the McConnell choice. If the conservative managed to win then the establishment Republican Party would dismiss the candidate as unelectable and withdraw support, while out of state money from liberal organization would then flood into the race.
If Conservatives are able to reverse the recent election fraud it will likely result from investments in local contests. I would like to see Trump transition from delegating candidate selection from unreliable insubordinate allies to getting personally involved with recruiting, encouraging and supporting true conservatives willing to fight against the Establishment.

Excuse me, but why is the Republican floor leader in the Senate mixed up in ‘candidate selection’? And why is Kevin McCarthy renowned for his skills at fundraising. We have state parties and we have the staff of the Republican National Committee. Just what is their function?
to getting personally involved with recruiting, encouraging and supporting true conservatives willing to fight against the Establishment.
Jump starting it, perhaps. It’s really up to state parties to find the candidates. That, and raise money for their state legislature slate. (And I do hope state parties take to telling carpetbaggers like Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney to hit the road).
Remember Lewis Amselem’s comment about political life in Latin America? “The function of the 1st Lady is to launder the bribes”. Kamala Harris’ unprepossessing stepdaughter has won a modeling contract.
I doubt my 21 year old self would have been motivated to improve my acquaintance with

O my, this photo of the 2nd Daughter make me think of earth shoes, tie dye and granny dresses. Please tell me this is a before picture. If not, she needs eyebrow tweezers and a razor for armpit hair for starters. A professional make up artist and a fashion photog could work magic.
Most women, I think, need to be counseled that less is more. What she doesn’t need is a phoney-baloney modeling contract.

Annals of woke corporatism and breach of fiduciary duty, A grand total of 4% of the working lawyers in the United States are black. Note that someone admitted to the bar having attended school before AA was a common feature of legal education is now about 70 years old at a minimum.
Note that in 1976, about 4% of the first professional degrees in this country were awarded to blacks, breakdown by discipline not reported. By 1992, a breakdown by discipline was reported. A total of 5% of the first professional degrees were awarded to blacks, a proportion which matched precisely the share of law degrees awarded to blacks. Someone admitted to the bar in 1992 or 1993 is now 53 years old, de minimus; 72% of the working population would be younger. Do the corporate woke-tards who make up these quotas ever check labor force data?
Regarding the supposed infographic of 70+ macroeconomists, even the cartoon drawing representing Clinton v. Trump is warped: Trump given a double-chin and Hillary cosmetized to look decades younger to the point of being unrecognizable. Disinfo on steroids.
Did you read Scott Sumner’s rants in 2016? They weren’t driven by a dry assessment of ‘plans’.
Academics are other-directed people and certain attitudes delineate in-groups and out-groups. It’s doubtful that most of them had ever analyzed what the candidates said or even cared to take the time.
Note, Hillary is a lapsed lawyer who has no education in economics and never worked in business. Why would anyone get the idea she knew anything about the subject? These are our faculty.
Art,
Corrupt, incompetent Hillary is the left’s (now retired) ‘smartest woman on the planet.’ Am I the only man in America that thinks that insults women?
