It’s a movie I’ve always wanted to see. I read the book about 5 years ago. In early November it was playing on the Light TV station so I watched. I was most interested in the Orson Wells / preacher scene. They CUT THE WHOLE SCENE in the Church. I felt robbed. I then wondered, as I watched, how much they cut from the rest of the movie to fit in the time slot. I need to get a BlueRay version so I can FINALLY see it. Gregory Peck was one of the finest actors ever.

Not only is this a great movie (remade many years later as Start Trek II the Wrath of Khan), but I believe that the screen play was by Ray Bradbury
