What we learned yesterday is that security on Capitol Hill is a bad joke. A well trained and well armed terrorist strike team could probably have killed almost every member of Congress with impunity yesterday. Fortunately the people who staged the “insurrection”, to borrow the misused term that the Media has used ad infinitum, had no such intent. Most government expenditures are wasted, and it seems that is the case for the tab run up for security on Capitol Hill. Democrats in Congress could end this wastage by trying out the defund the police mantra on themselves. In the meantime, perhaps they could get some ticked off Boy Scout troops to provide security. I suspect they would prove to be an improvement.
My guess is the Capitol police did exactly as they were told to do by our new “administration” in order to give Trump and his followers another dirtying-up.
I hate a lie.
It’s not that I’m more honest than anyone. It’s that a lie disgusts me. It’s like biting into something rotten.
In the past two months, we witnessed two rigged and stolen elections [they stole those two GA senate seats, too] putting into unbalanced/unchecked power a drooling puppet that is owned by our enemies.
The so-called fabric of our democracy was ripped last November when they brazenly stole the Presidential election and the facts were covered up and not allowed to be tried in court by your so-called institutions – Congress, the Judiciary, the media, the Church.
The largely peaceful riots [only killed were the so-called rioters] at the Capitol are weak tea to what should be happening.
Embrace your chains and slavery.
I’m beginning to wonder if there are any federal civilian agencies whose primary purpose is not to sluice salaries and benefits to their employees.
They were not only understaffed in terms of headcount, they’d put a mess of women on site, because we live in clown world where you don’t screen applicants for protective services jobs by muscle mass because that leads to a workforce that is not ‘diverse’.
