Yikes is the word. If it weren’t for mainstream polls, there would be no element in this election that does not proclaim that Biden is a hopeless sacrificial lamb tossed out to run against an incumbent president and suffer a smashing defeat. A car rally for Trump earlier this week in Arizona stretched for thirty miles.

Well this is encouraging but as I’ve said here before, an enthusiastic vote doesn’t count any more than an unenthusiastic vote. And people aren’t going to be voting for Biden, they’re going to be voting against Trump.
The problem with “voting against” is that voting isn’t a two option game. You can not vote for a candidate by voting for a third party candidate or staying home. Sure, that doesn’t have the same effect as voting for the other major party candidate, but if that candidate sucks it’s hard to work up enthusiasm for voting for him just because you want the other guy to lose. Much easier to stay home or leave the spot blank. In contrast someone highly motivated to vote for someone will very likely actually make that vote.
We were told that Hillary would win since she would get the votes against Trump, and that Romney would win since he would get the votes against Obama, and that Kerry would win since he would get the votes against Bush. How did that work out?
I definitely voted against Joe Biden and the entire Democrat Party from the top of the ballot to the bottom. I would like to start an “Anti-Democrat Party” and convince people to vote against that platform until they come back to their senses and change it.
I’m also very enthusiastically against the Democrat Party! My family on both sides used to firm “Truman Democrats”, but now only a few crazy aunts and uncles and a stray cousin or two maintain that allegiance. The rest bailed out long ago.
I guess this makes me a “deplorable”! Alrighty then!
