Republican National Convention-Night Three

Night Three of the Republican convention.  Some of the highlights:

1.Kristi Noem, the Governor of South Dakota, is an up and comer:

  1. Dan Crenshaw, Congressman from Texas, with his Seal veteran status and losing an eye in combat, is a figure from a Tom Clancy novel come to life:

3.  Sister Deidre Byrne, a Sister of the Little Workers of the Sacred Heart.  Go here to read about her remarkable story.  She speaks for life and for Trump as the most pro-life President in our history.

4.  Chen Guangcheng, the heroic blind Chinese dissident, who spoke out about China’s one child policy:

5.  Clarence Henderson, a Civil Rights sit in veteran of the Sixties, and President of the North Carolina chapter of the Frederick Douglass Foundation gives a history of the Republican party in the struggle for civil rights for blacks:

6.  As is traditional on a Wednesday convention night the Vice Presidential nominee, and current Vice-President, Mike Pence, gave his speech:

Once again I thought the format was a success.  Many speakers, many with an interesting back story.  A good convention thus far.  Now Trump, the ultimate salesman and deal maker, has to begin the process of sealing the deal with his bosses, the American people, tonight for a four year extension of his occupancy of the White House.

There is a some excellent advice to the Republican Convention from the editors of The American Mind today:
To War, GOP
“First, you need to announce you are mounting a counter-revolution against the Left. You need to acknowledge the stakes. Enough defense. Enough capitulation on matters great and small. Rather (in broad outline): attack the Democrats’ militant message of Potemkin multiculturalism at every turn. For the Democrats all flows from this toxic wellspring: the race quotas, the riots, the cancellations, everything. Loudly and utterly reject political correctness and identity politics. Loudly and whole-heartedly embrace freedom of thought and equality under the law instead.”

Yes, Jack Brewer was very good. Loved retired Army surgeon Sr. Dede exclaiming, “my weapon of choice” as she pulls out her rosary beads. “Pro life and pro Eternal Life”.
I hope that President Trump outlines his plans for the next four years.
Big sign seen at a gas station in TN as I was driving back from Lafayette LA TRUMP IN 2020
