The rioters made a mistake when they made Kenosha their latest target. It is a town with a long heritage. Many families have lived there for generations. It is not some soulless megalopolis. The destruction carried out there will be long remembered and a continuation will not be tolerated. The time of the anarchists in this year of punishment is beginning to end. Remember that the turning point began in Kenosha.
A not insignificant part of that turning point is going to the fact that a brave (or perhaps foolhardy) young man of seventeen stood up to the ravagers, putting one of them in the hospital and two others in the morgue.
When the police stand down vigilante citizens stand up. And stand up with few rules of engagement. Hopefully, governments will learn.

True, and now he is charged with first degree murder. From what I can see through the videos available he acted in self defense. Lovers of freedom and haters of riots should ensure that he has the best criminal defense.
Regarding the shooter whose self defense has now been characterized as murder by a gutless prosecutor, I will be surprised if the prosecution doesn’t try to manipulate the system in Wisconsin to move the trial, if there is one, to Milwaukee or Madison. I don’t know Wisconsin criminal procedure, so perhaps this isn’t even possible unless the defense moves for change of venue, which isn’t likely. Somehow the idea of a Kenosha County jury convicting this kid of anything seems improbable, based on just the video we have seen. If there is a crowd-funding effort for his defense, I will gladly contribute.
