Democrats Have Morphed Politics Into a Secular Religion

Attorney General Barr nails it.  We have had ferocious political fights throughout the history of this nation, but we have been almost totally spared wars of religion.  Until now.  God help us all.

Secular Religion has it’s [un] Holy Ground; Planned Parenthood.
They, the religious, offer up human sacrifice daily…blood sacrifices.

The Blood of the Lamb of God who gives Life is mocked by the false God who takes life.

The good news?

Time is very short for Secular Religion and it’s followers.

The reign of Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart are unfolding.
The New Springtime is near.

The rise of the “nones”, especially among the young, may not really be “nones”, Here is a good article all about today’s politics as religion in terms of ultimate truth, a sense of purpose and community. People are willing to give their lives for this stuff to the point of suffering….its’ satanic.

As He told each of us unequivocally; “you are either with me, or against me.”
Everybody loved God until they found out our Maker came with a maintenance manual of required rules….then they find another god to worship.

Our problem isn’t a war of religion, it’s fanaticism. A critical mass of people have a sense of self derived from stances about public matters they only dimly understand contra people they’ve elected to treat as depersonalized object of hate. There are a lot of feckless jerks who go along with it because they’re too obtuse to see the implications. The rest of us have trouble making sense of it because we are more or less normal and cannot see the point of aggressively attacking everything that isn’t ordered to give succor to our aggression.

I wholeheartedly agree with the commenters above who detect the diabolical in this trend–consequently I believe we’re not seeing a “secular” religion, per se, at all. That it’s a religion, like the others, with worship of the supernatural. In the “high places” of the powerful, I personally have no doubt, they are consciously worshiping the devil. In the “lower places” amongst us ordinary folk, their followers noisily go on doing their masters’ dirty work visibly in the public sphere.

The site of George Floyd’s death is now being called “holy ground.” The gatherings of BLM have many moments which resemble holy rituals (before the looting begins, though you could argue that that has taken on cultic aspects as well.)

There is also a clear sense of “clean” and “unclean.” An off color photo on facebook can make you ritually unclean. And like ritual uncleanness from past religions, those who come in contact with you also become unclean. The only way to become clean is to ritually humiliate yourself before the high priests. But since this new religion has no guarantee of forgiveness, you could just be permanently unclean.

The average Joe isn’t actively and knowingly worshiping Satan (though he may very well be working in Satan’s interests). But he is engaging in a substitute religion nonetheless.

“America has ceased to be different from the rest of the Western world in remaining religious, with the result that politics is the new religion. It has removed transcendence and salvation from the private and personal sphere to the public realm, where it can lead only to conflict.” -Theodore Dalrymple
