Rest in peace brother.
Rest in Peace Bruno Ganz. Your genius exposed Hitler as the Madman that he was.
Ganz studied films of Hitler in his last days and read interviews/writings of those who were in the Berlin bunker with Hitler.
He was a consummate character actor.
Too bad the parodies weren’t around during WWII. They probably would have driven The Fuhrer further over the edge.

Ha! I knew someone was going to make one of those.
It gets lost in all of the parodies, but “Downfall” is such an amazing movie. It’s a must-watch for any history fan.
Agreed Mike. It is the closest of all films in capturing Hitler and the crazed world he made.
