Bravo! I sometimes fear that people are losing the capacity to think.
If You Start Carrying Pictures of Chairman Mao

Current research says the pyramids were public works projects to employ field labor during the Nile’s annual inundation. The workers were paid, although they probably didn’t get health care and who knows what the minimum wage was in 2800 BC.

DON
I sent my copy of the “Little Red Book” to the trash many years ago so I don’t have the reference.
On of Mao’s most astute proclamations was:
“Political Power grows out the barrel of a gun!”
Which is why neutral police forces are so valuable, to allow political power to grow out of more reasonable sources like the will of the people.
I think that nicely explains the anti-Second Amendment and DeFund police movements. Antifa and their sponsors want a monopoly on the source of political power.
Everything else is eyewash.
Yep, Hank. If people view the police as honest brokers trying to maintain order, well and good. If they are viewed as political enforcers, insurrection beckons. The Left in this year of punishment has displayed a preference for violence over persuasion. They shall soon reap a whirlwind of violence if they do not stop. It has been said that the police do not protect law abiding citizens, but rather those suspected of crime from an angry public. The Left is setting up their own destruction and they are too arrogant to realize it.
Tom Byrne, just for the record, analysis of pyramid workers’ remains show that they received what was, in context, very good health care for injuries incurred during construction. 🙂

Not according to their work comp attorneys…
