And that’s in spite of the fact that too much of the country has been effectively grounded since last spring.
“This is a stunning statistic. In a normal time, the president would be cruising to re-election on the basis of this poll data alone. ”

Ben Shapiro is an opportunist. If he thinks Never Trump will sell then he’ll be a Never Trumper. But if the thinks the winds are changing, he will back off from it.
So his endorsement of the president’s support is in and of itself a sign that the president’s victory is likely.
Don,
You’re pretty active on Twitter, a nice surprise to me! 🙂
I don’t post on Twitter Tito, but this year I have been finding quite a few interesting twitter feeds I check out regularly. Brevity may not be the soul of wit, but for blogging purposes it is a plus and tweets are always brief.
Since Twitter, Facebook, etc. are the 21st Century equivalent of the Inferno, does that make you Dante, or Virgil?
Agree with Mr. Harrier’s assessment of Ben Shapiro, who may (or may not) aspire to be the next Jake Tapper.
Just discovered that the President had already tweeted about this poll at 8pm last night:

I would be Cato at the base of Mount Purgatory, but my sense of humor mars that image. Stoics were never big on humor, except of the unintentional type.
I rather imagine Cato the Younger to have never laughed in his life, not even once.
And to be inordinately proud of that fact.

Kato and the Green Hornet travel back in time to help Cato the Younger save the Roman Republic from Caesar. I like it!
Kato and the Green Hornet didn’t travel far enough back then. The Caesars were the product of the Fall, not it’s cause.
