U.S.—A new CNN poll released Monday found that Joe Biden was leading in several key battleground cemeteries.
84% of the respondents said they would be voting for the Democratic challenger, while 2% said they would support incumbent Donald Trump. 14% just moaned, “BRAAAAAINS!” and reached their rotting arms out in front of them while shambling around looking for something, presumably brains.
“Biden has a real edge when we look at key battleground cemeteries all across the nation,” said a visibly gleeful CNN anchor. “This is excellent news! Wait — I’m not supposed to root for a side — sorry, sometimes I forget. Anyway, good for Biden and I really hope he wins.”
“This could be the end for Trump. The walls are closing in. This is the beginning of the end. He is done for. Kaput. The woman of significant size has begun to sing.”
Go here to read the rest. Watching the media set fire to what small level of believability they retained has been one of the more amusing aspects of the era of Trump. They have trained half the nation to assume that they are lying whenever their lips are moving.
George Ray Tweed was a Navy radioman on Guam, who, during the occupation of Guam by the Japanese, evaded capture until the liberation of the island, with the help of natives of Guam, several of whom died under torture rather than reveal his whereabouts. Among other activities against the Japanese, he set up a radio to get news from the outside world. He founded a clandestine paper called The Guam Eagle to inform the people of Guam as to how the War was going. In the first issue he set forth the guiding principle behind the paper: The policy of this paper is to publish the real war news. Whether the news is good or bad it will always be the truth.
That credo has stayed with me since I saw a movie about Tweed in the sixties as a boy, No Man is an Island (1962). Go here to view it on YouTube. The section on The Guam Eagle starts at 50.00. That is what I have aimed for on this blog. Would that almost all the mainstream media had a similar goal. Instead, this is what they seem to believe in:
There is no such thing as truth for the MSM. They do not even believe there is such a thing. The only thing that matters is their political goals—the current narrative. This is Progressive thinking found in our major universities where the apparatchiks of the MSM were formed. My son Matthew is one of them. Pray for him please.
Truth? Knowing who Biden is and what he and his party stands for, two prominent Republicans have come out for him. No principles at all.

The ghost of George Will is voting for Biden? No surprise. The man checked out mentally long ago. As for Kasich, the son of a mailman as he constantly reminded people, his enormous ego never recovered from 2016 when his campaign for the Republican nomination for President went down to ignominious defeat. The Democrats are welcome to these recruits.
Props to Will and Kasich for at last being honest about something.
One thing Trump excels at is tearing off the masks. And one thing we’ve learned is that many and perhaps most of the people employed as starboard opinion-mongers (ca. 2014) are primarily motivated by their own vanity or have no interest in policy and institutional development (only personalities) or are talking book. Will’s commentary the last five years has been sufficient to justify a retrospective re-evaluation of what he’s advocated since 1973. Will’s always been a man to look down his nose at others. Now we’ve learned that was his primary motor. (Note, he loathes Trump, despised Richard Nixon, despised Gerald Ford, despised George Bush the Elder, and had a disposition toward the Bush the Younger that varied between blandly detached and critical; the only Republican president he ever had any use for was Reagan).
Same deal with Kasich.
Think about what we’ve learned in the last seven years. The IRS volunteered to do the Obama Administration’s dirty work contra the Tea Party and contra prominent Republican donors in 2010; important components of the security state replicated Gordon Liddy’s pick up team in 2016 and tried to collect dirt on the Republican presidential candidate; that same crew, explicitly countenanced by Biden and Obama, manufactured a bogus criminal charge against Michael Flynn; elements of that same crew generated a contrived special counsel’s investigation, whose object was to instigate a criminal charge or an impeachment inquiry against the president for obstructing their obstruction investigation (when there was no underlying crime the investigation of which was being obstructed), that the Democrats in Congress (assisted by Mitt Romney) were willing to launch a bogus impeachment inquiry on the basis of a bogus whistle-blower complaint whose actual origin was the irritation of a pair of career government employees that the President had contradicted ‘the Interagency’; that the Democratic Party was willing to launch a hideous and self-consciously mendacious smear campaign against a Supreme Court nominee drawn from the ranks of uber-establishment Republicans; that every element of the social nexus associated with the Democratic Party has been willing to launch or permit mass violence in response to a complaint against police officers that every informed individual knows is bogus; and that Democrats in general are seeking to wreck police forces and are happy to tolerate mass lawlessness in that object. They also know that vote fraud is routine in some areas and that Democrats want postal balloting in order to do more of it.
