Something for the weekend. I Hate Snow. It snowed yesterday in my slice of Central Illinois. This is the April from Hell. Depressing, but such is life in the Midwest where I have seen “Winter” occasionally in May.

Try Wyoming. I’ve seen it snow in June. Or Northern Idaho where snow on Memorial and Labor Day weekend.
John Keegan, the late, and great, British military historian, noted that he had visited America often, and loved it, but that various places in it had the most hellish climates imaginable.
I love Seasonal snow; “If it’s winter it might as well be white”. But after Feb-March; “Ok, that’s enough where’s the thermostat.”
One great thing though -don’t shovel. It’ll melt.
We got three inches on Easter Sunday. Looked more like Christmas than Christmas did this year.
