And bad cat paintings at that.

Mumia Abu-Jamal is still in prison for executing two Philadelphia police officers in 1981 with a bullet to the back of their skulls after forcing them to lay in the street,
He has a cult following writing 12 books, radio and seminars declaring that the officers invaded his sovereign nation of one (himself) and so he had a right to defend himself.
The two police officers were sovereign nations as well.
Is Mumia’s soul worth more than the two police officers’ immortal souls? The Constitution guarantees equal Justice. Where is equal Justice for the murdered police officers?
30 years ago in 1994 Jesse Timmendequas raped and murdered 7 year old Megan Kanka. Timmendaquas’ death penalty was commuted to life in prison when New Jersey abolished capital punishment. Timmendaquas is in solitary confinement at a cost of one million dollars per year. Letting the murderer enjoy and relive his killing of innocent children is a crime in itself.
Capital punishment, the death penalty is the temporal punishment for homicide in the first degree; planning and murdering an innocent victim. The state is instituted by the governed for self-defense. Real persons must acknowledge the reality of the death penalty for themselves if they kill another human being in lust, hatred and all evil.
Useless cowards kill innocent persons and deserve equal Justice by our Constitution.
Do to the killer what the killer has done to his victim. For the state to forgive the killer, the state becomes an accessory after the fact, a murderer.
What are the connections between crime and being a (bad) painter. 🤨
Gloria Vanderbilt’s tertiary schooling consisted of courses at something called the ‘Art Students’ League’. By what accounts I’ve read, her real passion was art and her discretionary time was devoted to ‘working in her studio’, something she did daily when she was approaching ninety (and astonishingly spry for the cameras).

My aunt was a capable artist (oil paint, watercolor, pastels) and her daughter over the years has produced handsome work (and was employed for a time as an elementary school art teacher). As a rule, I think women should if they have a bent in that direction devote themselves to crafts rather than art and my mother never attempted anything other than crafts. However, my aunt and my cousin could and did produce things that you could hang on your wall, though I don’t think either would you find at a public market or clothesline fair.

Some of Gloria Vanderbilt’s work looks oddly whimsical, like something you’d use to illustrate a children’s book. AFAICT, most of it looks like what Hinckley is posting.
I will repeat, Samuel Johnson’s comments on capital punishment are as valid today as three centuries ago.
Bad? Nonsense! “Noble Simplicity”.
