June 25, 1950, the North Koreans, at the instigation of Stalin, invaded South Korea. The US, under UN auspices, and with the help of allied nations around the globe, intervened under General Douglas MacArthur. In a brilliant campaign, MacArthur led the American and allied forces to victory, largely destroying the North Korean Army and conquering most of North Korea. Massive Chinese intervention led to a see-saw war up and down the Korean peninsula, with a stalemate ensuing from July 1951-July 1953. Eisenhower got the North Koreans and their Chinese and Soviet backers to finally agree to a truce by threatening to use nuclear weapons in Korea.
Our POWs during the war were treated with the usual barbarity with which Communist regimes have treated prisoners of war.
One reason that the war dragged on is because many North Korean and Chinese prisoners of war did not want to be repatriated. Harry Truman, to his everlasting credit, refused to send them back against their will: “We will not buy an armistice by turning over human beings for slaughter or slavery“. Eventually, in a stunning rebuke to Communism, some 46,000 North Korean and Chinese soldiers refused repatriation. Conversely, only 22 Americans and 1 Brit refused repatriation, with almost all of them eventually returning after the war.

Satan is a plus or minus zero with not a trace of goodness in him; pure evil.
When Satan tempted Eve, Satan promised Eve that she would be like God. Adam and Eve were created in the image and likeness of God. God, the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, gave Adam and Eve everything except infinity which a created being by virtue of his being brought into being, that is existence, is not capable of having.
When Satan tempted Jesus Christ in the desert, Satan promised Jesus Christ all the sovereign nations of the world if Jesus Christ bowed down to the devil. Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, the Son of God would not have bowed down to Satan if Satan had all the sovereign nations of the world, but the devil is nothing and owns nothing. Satan cannot give all the sovereign nations of the world because Satan does not have all the sovereign nations of the world to give.
The devil is a liar. Some lost individuals worship Satan in fear, but even these people are created by God, not Satan.
Remind Satan that even he is created by God as Saint Lucifer, the great angel of light. And in rebellion Satan was thrown into hell. God might have evaporated, annihilated Lucifer, but God does not contradict Himself. Once created always created in spite of the evil being done by devils.
God always brings good out of evil.
It is a pity that Zohran Mamdani, AOC, and Bernie Sanders cannot be repatriated to North Korea. 😉 And send Pope Bob the Democrat from Chicago, too.
