For Jason. A double amputee who is on the fence considering becoming Catholic. OCIA meeting coming up on Monday afternoon. He has never been affiliated with any Church and he is not baptized.
And for Steve E. That a new world that he didn’t expect will enter into his soul as the light fades. Replacing fear with Peace becomes a new sense which guides every moment of his life without vision. That in his blindness he see’s the Prince of Peace and knows without a doubt that HE is his guide.

My brother has received a terminal diagnosis. He has some years left, but many fewer than anyone expected. We’re also on tenderhooks here in re the annual mammogram; the cancer in question is not (compared to others) virulent, but it has the unfortunate property of being able to resurface at any time. Also, one among us is now in hospice. They evaluate you every few months and some ‘graduate’ to ordinary home health nursing, but she continues to decline. The shirt-tail with the rogue husband tells us her domestic situation has stabilized and her work situation is worse. Would appreciate prayers to St. Agatha especially.
