Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.

When the armies of the young are corraled into cramp apartment complexes eating stale bread and cheese provided by the Dark Lord and are being told how great they have it, then and only then will they curse the professors who brainwashed them.
For these zombies a hard dose of reality must be shoved into their nostrils in order for their dream to be actualized. Its only then that they will understand that they created a nightmare which will enslave their progeny.
This is the fruit that will come from their orchards.
God created and endowed the human immortal soul with free will. This needs to be taught in all schools.
I am curious as to why Bp. Barron is now on this position. Don’t get me wrong, I am glad he is, but it felt for a while he had gotten super soft and gone completely wobbly. Wonder what changed.
I agree w Josh. Where has he been? What about the Bishops who are communist and socialist? This didn’t “just” happen.
Merciful God save US. If bishops and priests one day find themselves in the gulags it will be too late to speak up. Godless communism is on our doorstep. The “Black Robe Brigade” helped forge the American Independence movement. It is time for all God’s people to speak up and denounce the ideology of the Devil.
I think that God, in His time, prepares us and certain personalities so speak up in truth in turbulent times such as these. Call, him Bishop or a prophet, perhaps prepared for our times. If St. Paul changed so can the Bishop.
I am going to have to put aside some rash uncritical commentary Bp. Barron put out a few years back on Viet Nam and My Lai, and reconsider that perhaps he is now seeing the light (and hopefully, not just hunting for the Red Hat, which these statements anyway would not help him at all with “80’s Pope Bob”..)
