Out of Date

Simply declaring teaching out of date is every heretic’s dream.  Just name every teaching of the Church that you do not like and append to it the phrase “out of date”.  No fuss, no muss, no argument, no debate; simply declare that any teaching is out of date.  Chastity is uncongenial to most moderns and is therefore out of date.  Divorce is rampant and therefore the sanctity of marriage is out of date.  Few Catholics go to Confession and therefore the Sacrament of Reconciliation is out of date.

Putting a temporal terminus on the teachings of the Church is an acid to erode the Faith.  Francis promoted many bad ideas during his misrule of the Church, but none as deadly as this.

what other teachings might soon be out of date?
we suspect that once the impending “excommunications” happen, that is “to widely separate..”
-women will be made deacons… it’ll be said that they’re not priests of course, and just a “couple” to start the process, a blessing not formal… if you get what’s meant there.

if you disbelieve, consider the recent she-bishop greeting

The next thing to go could very possibly be the language of “intrinsic evil” … This encyclical never uses it but rather dances around it.

PF-

Yes, V2 is well past its shelf life.

Vatican has no idea the can of worms it’s determined to open this summer.

Young SSPX and other assorted trads will have no problem calling out BS – loudly.

I’m old and hurt and don’t have their fire in the same way, but these guys have really *never* had anything good out of Rome. Scandal, closures, idiotic statements, limitations on good things, promotion of things, stubborn silence on clarity, effusive speech on everything else.

God will sort it out, of course, but I think the likelihood of a quiet 2026 is statistically nil.
