The real anthem of hell would have to be sung by Yoko Ono

John Lennon’s “Imagine”; of which there won’t be any?

A friend mentioned that he wonders if “Trump’s age is catching up to him in a loss of filter before speaking”.
In Trump’s case that would be the loss of what little filter he ever had.

Imagine. Mostly by Yoko not Lennon. But it might not have ever been known had it not been for Lennon’s name.Worse than the Coke song but a close race. I throw up in my mouth anytime I hear either of them. What was it about the early 1970s?

Clerics who publicly chastise by innuendo and insinuation POTUS because he posted a 3-minute video of Frank Sinatra singing “My Way” should shut their damnable mouths.

I for one am glad and grateful to God that the President is doing things his way because the way of the post-Vatican II Institutional Church and the way of Washington, DC demonstrably don’t work for the benefit of either the eternal souls of the laity or the freedom and protection of the citizenry. All this talk about the way of Jesus is passive aggressive hypocrisy, for if the Cardinals and the Pope really cared about the way of Jesus, then politicians like John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, JB Pritzker, Joe Biden, etc. ad nauseam would all be publicly excommunicated for supporting the pro-abortion, pro-sodomy, pro-transgenderism of the Democrat Party. But when it comes to politics, what do they complain about? Not abortion. Not sodomy. Not transgenderism. If they mention them at all, it is only to throw the proverbial bone to a barking dog (i.e., conservative Catholics) to keep him quiet. No indeed! They complain about mean, war-mongering, arrogant Trump because he hurts everyone’s feelings. To these clerics I offer the submarine sailor one finger salute.

LQC-

I think you are quite right about passive aggressive stance of the Vatican.

No public correction of bishops and priests who go against Tradition or the Magisterium. No dressing down of persons and places that claim to be Catholic and act otherwise.

Instead the fire and brimstone speech is directed at a man literally outside the Church (who shows signs of being interested in being inside the Church) who is fighting evil men who kill their own people unrepentantly.

Not just selective outrage, but very poor onboarding indeed!

I am tired of the Catholic Church being operated like the Democrat Party.
